About us
The Mullum to Bruns Run & Walk is the brainchild of Mehil Beckerman, an active jogger and a former runner.
Due to the lack of running events in the area, Mehil decided to organise a run from Mullumbimby to Brunswick Heads and so the Mullum to Bruns Moving Towards Change was born. An incorporated association was formed in 2008 as the legal entity behind the event.
The aim of the Mullum to Bruns Incorporated is to establish an annual Mullum to Bruns Run & Walk, providing opportunities for people to get physically active and for some to compete. Our aim is also to help others by giving all proceeds to charities.
This year the Mullum to Bruns Incorporated will be fundraising for the Brunswick Valley Rescue Squad and Oxfam Australia, specifically targeting the Indigenous Australia projects, as described on the Oxfam website: http://www.oxfam.org.au/world/pacific/australia/ (All money raised will be used within Australia).
